The Michigan Regional Comprehensive Metabolomics Resource Core (MRC2) invites you to its first seminar of 2015. Dr. Kestas G. Bendinskas, Professor of Biochemistry at SUNY-Oswego, will present "Effects of Environmental Lead and Mercury on Cardiovascular System, Inflammatory Markers, and Sleep in Adolescents."
Dr. Kestutis Bendinskas is a Professor of Biochemistry in the Department of Chemistry at SUNY-Oswego. He directs the Molecular Biology and Biochemistry Center and the Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics Center at SUNY-Oswego and is the Editor of the American Journal of Undergraduate Research. He received his Ph.D. from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, and did his postdoctoral studies at the Department of Biochemistry at Johns Hopkins University. In 2003 Dr. Bendinskas joined the faculty at SUNY-Oswego, where he currently teaches Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Proteomics, and Environmental Science.
